Aloha dear Oceania Maui friends,
We just listed Oceania's new collection of Braided Necklaces with gems and pearls for you! This very detailed and almost meditative style of jewelry making is inspired by memories of her teenage years in the early 1980's. Being a very creative and artistic craftsman, her dad spent the summers traveling through New England and selling his creations at festivals and craft fairs. Oceania would make macrame arts and crafts projects like jewelry, plant holders, and decorative pieces, and sell them along with her dad. Having a big love for all the colors of the rainbow, she made this new collection by combining pearls and gems in beautiful necklace designs. Often sitting and braiding them at sunset at the beach, she weaves intentions of gratitude into each piece: for the love of family, the joy of traveling, and endless inspiration found in nature.
