Mother of pearl is formed on the inside of oyster shells and similar to pearls in composition. The color may be white, golden, pink, bronze or black. The iridescent quality of mother of pearl creates beautiful reflections in all rainbow colors on the shell surface. All our mother of pearl jewelry is handmade and set in sterling silver.
